アメリカのpitchforkのbest album 2011をながめていたのですが
まったくピンと来ない自分はずれているのだろうか…？ま、いいか。
と言う事で私のよく聴いたレコードを新旧併せてご紹介。

オルタナティブやパンク寄りに。Slumberlandの物が多いのは毎年の事です。

シングルはアルバムよりもぐっとindie pop色がつよくなりました。
Catwalkのこの曲の素晴らしさは言及する必要が無い位だと思いますが、
今年こそアルバムに期待してます。Crumbなど、地味な感じで全く注目されてないけれど
TFCのような爽やかなguitar popサウンドもやはり外せません。

Rideの"Nowhere"、リリースされてから20年！！そしてGo Sailorの名盤が再発された事は2011年にとって
素晴らしい出来事だったと思います。

2011年に出版された本という括りですが、まどかさんの「イノセント・ガールズ」は
波瀾万丈な女性達のストーリーが展開されていて、読むだけで20人分の奇妙な人生を
疑似体験できそうな作品。Stuartのこの本はBelle And Sebastianのアルバム制作裏話
が沢山書いてあって、ファンの私にとっては目から鱗な作品でした。
